2024 Emmy predictions for each category

Variety‘S Awards Circuit is the home for all awards news and related content throughout the year, with the official predictions for the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys and Tony Awards, curated by Variety senior awards editor Clayton Davis. Commentary (updated April 11, 2024): The first set of predictions in the main actress categories for drama, comedy and limited/anthology series or TV movies have been revealed. Because of what has become the norm around these price points, there is some fierce competition coming.

Apart from miniseries like ‘Lessons in Chemistry’, ‘True Detective: Night Country’ and ‘Shо̄gun’ dominating with the main performers, we also have the question of whether starters will be welcomed into the club after multiple seasons on hit shows. . These include Selena Gomez from the mystery comedy “Only Murders in the Building” and Carrie Coon from Max’s period drama “The Gilded Age.”

Upcoming For Your Consideration (FYC) events: Peacock’s “Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie” (April 11), Disney’s “Loki” (April 13) and NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Apple’s “Silo” and Hulu’s “Under the Bridge” (April 14) .
