49ers WR Ricky Pearsall’s mother provides health update after admission

Ricky PearsallHe is lucky to be alive and it is thanks to God that he protected him from the bullets fired during Saturday’s attempted robbery… according to his mother.

Erin Pearsall shared an update on her son’s condition less than 24 hours after police said a 17-year-old suspect shot him in the chest while trying to steal his Rolex watch in broad daylight.

In her Facebook post, EP confirmed that her son was shot in the chest – the bullet exited his back – but miraculously the bullet missed all his vital organs.

Ricky’s mother gives God 100% of the credit for her son’s survival… saying her son would never have survived the ordeal without some form of divine intervention.

As we told you… the police arrived at the scene of the alleged incident yesterday around 3:30 p.m. – and said they found two male subjects injured.

Police say upon further investigation they discovered the two men were Pearsall and his alleged attacker, who was injured by his own weapon during an altercation with Ricky. Officers have arrested the suspect.

A video of Ricky at the scene appears to show him walking to the ambulance…pretty incredible for someone who just survived a bullet to the chest.

The 49ers drafted Pearsall in April with the 31st overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft after a stellar senior season with the Florida Gators. He has been sidelined in recent weeks with a shoulder injury.
