A local news crew in Milwaukee caught a brutal collision on camera… and the viral moment happened completely by chance.
As a TMJ4 journalist Kaylee Staral shared with her followers on
Lo and behold… the journalist and a bystander are chatting on the sidewalk when a loud screeching sound is heard off camera. The silver sedan avoids a collision with an SUV, but seconds later it crashes head-on into a parked minivan.
The driver immediately exits the vehicle and runs down the neighborhood street… while another person crawls out of the passenger seat and calls for help. Eyewitnesses soon flock to the car and help the injured man by dragging him away from the crash – despite his painful protests.
According to police, the incident happened Sunday at 7 p.m…. and involved a recently stolen vehicle. Although not documented in the video, a 57-year-old man was in the minivan; he was taken to hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
As for the injured passenger in the stolen sedan, he has been identified as a 16-year-old… who was arrested after his injuries were treated at a hospital.
However, the driver has yet to be arrested. Police are asking anyone with information to call Milwaukee police at 414-935-7360.
