This air fryer cleaning hack will cost you pennies and save you hours
Cleaning your oven is just about the worst way to spend an infinite amount of time. And that’s one of the reasons we love air fryers. With their non-stick coating they are So much faster and easier to clean.
But what if you hardly have to clean them?
That’s where air fryer liners come into play. Put one of those bad boys in the bottom of your cooking drawer and when your food is ready, just take it out and throw it in the trash. No, it’s not as environmentally friendly as using nothing at all – but parchment paper isn’t the worst kind of waste and plus you don’t have to worry about oil clogging the sink while you’re washing dishes.
If you’re in the UK, Amazon has more than a third of parchment air fryer liners, which are an ideal size for a two-tray Ninja air fryer. 100 of these will normally set you back £12.95, but you can currently buy them for £7.95, meaning they cost less than 8p each.
Air fryer liners usually come in two types: parchment and silicone. The advantage of the latter is that they are reusable, but that does mean you have to wash them, and we all like easy solutions. Parchment is also the better addition to an air fryer because it does not prevent the circulation of warm air around your food in the same way that thicker silicone liners do.
However, parchment liners also have some disadvantages. You must ensure that the paper does not touch the heating coil, and that any fat in your food cannot drain under the crisper drawer.
We’ve also found a deal on silicone liners, which are currently discounted by 15%, from £6.99 to £5.94 for two. Or you can browse all the air fryer liners on Amazon.
The US deal isn’t as good, but you can buy 100 parchment paper liners for a two-tray air fryer for $11.99, up from $13.05, so they’re less than 12¢ each.
Or you can check out all the air fryer liners available on Amazon US.
