Johnny Wactor’s family doesn’t want his ex-fiance talking about murder
Johnny Wactor‘s ex-fiance spoke out passionately against his murder — and while her heart is in the right place, the actor’s family thinks her mouth is elsewhere… and not needed.
We spoke to Johnny’s mother, Scarlettwho tells TMZ that Johnny and Tessa Farrell Dated years ago and haven’t been in touch… haven’t spoken in at least 2-3 years. She says his family hasn’t kept in touch with her either, which is why she’s irritated by her comments.

Tessa’s emotional plea for stricter laws in LA rings hollow to Scarlett, who tells us she believes Tessa is only after power, even though Tessa’s tearful video certainly seemed real. We even spoke with her to get more details about what she’d like to see change in LA’s criminal justice system.

She reiterates her demand to quickly catch the suspects responsible for Johnny’s murder – and in the same breath makes it clear that she had NO sympathy for them in her OG video.
You’ll remember that in the viral clip, Tessa tearfully spoke directly to the man(s) who shot Johnny, saying times are tough, but noting that they could just get a job instead of taking catalytic converters and kill people. .. a statement that rubbed some people the wrong way.
In our follow-up interview, Tessa makes it clear that committing crimes, regardless of one’s circumstances, is never okay, nor even slightly ambiguous.
Still, it sounds like Wactor’s family has soured on her anyway. His mother says she wishes Tessa would stop using her son’s name to the press, while pointing out that some of the things Tessa has mentioned – such as the existence of surveillance videos of the crime – are news to her are.
In terms of what happens next… Scarlett says Johnny’s body will be flown to South Carolina – where his family lives – and there will also be a memorial for him in LA at some point.
Police have yet to arrest anyone, and we hear the murder has left many in law enforcement in turmoil. Sources tell us this is the norm for the way criminals have behaved lately… namely more brutal and violent. without provocation.
When it comes to catalytic converter thefts specifically… our law enforcement sources say they have become more violent lately, and we’re told people from out of town are even heading to LA to bust this particular crime – knowing if they get caught, they just get a slap on the wrist.
Our sources say police don’t expect this issue to get better without some serious changes from the top down.
