Elton John's shopping puddle creates a flood of Copycat urinators in the trendy shoe store

The owner of a French shoe store has accused Elton John of starting an unsavory trend of urinating in public, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

The Rocket man singer, 77, has reportedly relieved himself an empty bottle in store – and now store owner Ryan Sukkar claims fans are trying to imitate him by doing the same.

Sukkar is the owner of Sugarkikz in Nice, France, a shoe store that John visited with his husband David Furnis61, and their two sons – Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11 – last month.

Upon entering the store, the famous singer-songwriter apparently felt nature calling and asked if a restroom was available. Sukkar claimed that when the 77-year-old was told there was no public toilet, he took refuge relieving himself in an empty bottle.

Sukkar further claimed that John’s aim was not as accurate as he would have liked. Urine reportedly missed the bottle and ended up on the floor, which John’s team had to clean up with towels.

Although Sugarkikz later posted on Instagram a photo of John and his two sons in the store, Sukkar was said to be furious about a stream of copycat urinators who flocked to the business after John’s story about the empty bottles leaked.

Sukkar claimed that the copycats have been on a rampage since the alleged incident took place, in which one fake patron used a container and another sprayed urine on the store’s sidewalk.

Mark Bego, the author of unauthorized biography Rocket Man: The Life of Elton Johnsaid: “The store owner would be incredibly frustrated and he doesn’t know what to do.”

“I’ve been to Nice several times myself – and it’s a beautiful place. There are some small but luxurious shops – and this is a sign of a black eye for its reputation.”

“I can understand why the owner of that store must be very upset.”

Sukkar reportedly told TMZ that the alleged incident with John marked the first time in his three years of owning the business that a customer had ever resorted to urinating in a container in the store.

While John ultimately bought two pairs of shoes for his sons, the sale apparently caused the store more headaches than it was worth.
