Sarah Paulson and Niecy Nash-Betts on Ryan Murphy Hulu Show 'All's Fair'

Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor and Naomi Watts join Glenn Close and Kim Kardashian in “All’s Fair,” Hulu’s new legal ensemble drama in the works from executive producer Ryan Murphy. Watts, Nash and Paulson will also join Close and Kardashian as executive producers of the show.

Little has been revealed about “All’s Fair” so far, aside from the logline that Kardashian — who recently made waves as star of Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Delicate” — will play a Los Angeles divorce lawyer in an all-female law firm, run by Close’s character.

News of the new castings comes just weeks later Variety announced the news that Halle Berry had left the project due to a scheduling conflict. According to insiders, none of the new stars replace Berry; instead, new roles have been written for Paulson, Nash, Taylor and Watts.

Murphy serves as writer, director and executive producer on “All’s Fair,” the first series announced under his new overall deal with Disney following the end of his Netflix deal. Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Lyn Greene and Richard Levine also serve as writers and executive producers. Other executive producers include Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson and Holly Jeter. 20th Television is behind the show, with Ryan Murphy Television.

Paulson recently earned her ninth Emmy nomination as a guest actress in a drama series for “Mr & Mrs Smith.” She also recently won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Lead Actress in a Play (for ‘Appropriate’).

Watts was recently nominated for an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Limited, Anthology Series or Movie category for her role in Murphy’s ‘Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans.” She next stars in “The Friend,” directed by Scott McGehee and David Siegel, which premieres at this year’s Telluride Film Festival. She also appeared in Murphy’s ‘The Watcher’.

Nash-Betts won an Emmy for Supporting Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Movie for her role in Murphy’s “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.” She recently starred in Ava DuVernay’s feature film “Origin” and hosts Fox’s game show “Don’t Forget the Lyrics.”

In addition to her R&B music career, Taylor received a Breakthrough Performance Award from the National Board of Review for her role in “A Thousand and One.” She also appeared in “The Book of Clarence” and “Coming 2 America” and will make her directorial debut with ‘Get Lite’ starring Storm Reid.

“All’s Fair” was recently named one of five shows that will receive a share of $58 million in tax credits from the California Film Commission. The show is expected to shoot in California for 97 days, including 10 days outside the Los Angeles area.

Paulson is represented by CAA; Watts is repped by CAA, Untitled and HJTH; Nash is repped by Artists First, WME and Jackoway Austen; Taylor is represented by WME and Taylormade Management Group.
