Unsanitary conditions lead to cornbread muffin recall

Frozen Food Processors, Inc. of Hattiesburg, MS is recalling 1,862 boxes of cornbread muffins manufactured without a state license and under unsanitary conditions.

According to the details posted online by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), the recall started on July 22, 2024 and is still ongoing.

The recalled muffins were distributed in Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama.

Recalled product:

Freezer food processors – Regular cornbread muffins

  • Packaged in 2 oz corrugated boxes lined with food grade plastic bags. Store frozen at 0F or below until ready to use.
  • 96 individual muffins per box.
  • Product quantity: 1,862 boxes

Consumers and retailers should not use this product. Recalled products should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
