Justin Baldoni And Blake LivelyThe cast and crew agree that there is a conflict between the ‘It Ends With Us’ costars, but we learned that he is not the clear villain, as some of the people who worked on the film besides Justin to stand.
Production sources tell TMZ … JB, who directed and co-stars in the romantic drama, is viewed quite positively by much of the crew as he was overall a nice guy to work with and cared deeply about the production.
Despite reports, the cast and crew are rallying around Blake in the feud with Justin over creative differences… we’re told this is an exaggeration.
Our sources say the truth is more like a civil war: There are certainly people who side with Blake, but there are also people who feel like Justin is screwed. While he’s gone solo on the press tour to promote ‘It Ends’… we’re told several people on the crew understand why.
For example, Blake – who produced the film – hired her own editor and got her husband Ryan Reynolds do last minute script rewrites even though this was supposed to be Justin’s project.

We’re told the creative struggle was sometimes evident on set, as we showed you one animated conversation between Blake and Justin was captured by bystanders during filming.
The sources we spoke to felt that Blake wanted to be seen as a creator, so she tried to take creative control of the film from Justin.
We’re also told he’s moved on from the drama and wants to keep it all to the back of his mind. That’s why he suggested last week that Blake would direct the sequel.
As for all the talk about the beef on set… one source says cast members are milking the drama on purpose. That’s called marketing.
The source pointed out a similar buzz about the director two years ago Olivia Wilde and her “Don’t Worry Darling” stars Florence Pugh And Harry Styles argument – and that film made almost $90 million at the box office.
We’ve reached out to Justin and Blake’s reps for comment…so far no word back.
