J Lo thought Ben Affleck’s split was a “temporary hiccup” before the divorce drama broke out
Jennifer Lopez thought her divorce from Ben Affleck was just a ‘glitch’ in their relationship.

Just a few days before Jennifer Lopez filed to end her marriage Ben Affleckthe Wedding planner Star still thought their divorce was just a “temporary hiccup” in their two-year marriage.
RadarOnline.com can reveal that Lopez was “humiliated” by Affleck because she hoped they would eventually work things out.
A source said: “When they first broke up, Jennifer was under the impression it was a temporary problem.”

Jennifer Lopez appeared to be smiling while shopping just days before filing for divorce.
But since Lopez officially filed for divorce, it was said that their children have become the main priority.
Affleck shares Violet, 18, Finn, 15, and 12-year-old Samuel Jennifer Garnerwhile Lopez and her ex-Marc Anthony have 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
The insider added: “Jen and Ben know they have to protect the kids and keep them out of it.
“Neither of them wants to hurt or pressure them any more than they already have been.”
If RadarOnline.com Lopez reportedly filed to end their marriage on Tuesday, exactly two years after the couple exchanged vows at a second wedding in Georgia.
J Lo listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024 in the documents – which she filed without the help of a lawyer.
The papers made no mention of a prenup – and sources close to Lopez said there isn’t one.

Lopez and Affleck’s marital home is currently on the market for $68 million.
The move confirms months of speculation that their relationship was over – for the second time – with things taking a nasty turn as they worked out the details of the already complicated breakup.
A source said: “Ben and Jen aren’t talking at all.
“Whatever civility there was is gone. The gloves are off and both sides are making demands and refusing to budge.”

Affleck and Lopez first got engaged in the early 2000s, but called off their wedding in 2004.
They reunited in 2021 and married first in Las Vegas and then in 2022 in Georgia.
Lopez put their renewed relationship on full display, making it the focus of her February Prime Video special. This is me… now: a love story.
When divorce rumors first started circulating in May, Affleck and Lopez appeared to be on friendly terms.
Although Affleck moved out of their $68 million marital home, they were spotted smiling and wearing their wedding rings as they attended Samuel’s graduation ceremony in June.

Sources say Lopez “tolerated” Affleck’s ex, Jennifer Garner.
But Affleck made his feelings clear over the summer.
They spent the July 16 anniversary of their wedding in Las Vegas on opposite coasts.
He then skipped her 55th birthday party that she hosted at her Hamptons home on July 20. Just four days later, on her actual birthday, he closed on his new $20.5 million Pacific Palisades bachelor pad.
An insider said: “First, Ben moved out of their country house into a rental property, proving he wanted to get as far away from Jen as possible.
‘Then he ignored their anniversary, skipped her birthday and bought a bachelor pad. It was all very embarrassing.’

Affleck also reportedly refused to file divorce papers first.
The insider added, “He’s trying to be a gentleman, but Jennifer finds it annoying, like he’s leaving the dirty work for her.”
Affleck also leans heavily on his ex Garner, whose home is just a few blocks from his new one.
Another source said: “Jennifer tolerated Jen’s existence because she is the mother of Ben’s children, but deep down it bothers her to see how close they are.
‘It was like there were three people in the marriage.
“Now all those bitter feelings are coming back to the surface.”

Affleck and Lopez packed on the PDA during a red carpet appearance in December 2023.
Despite their split, Affleck and Lopez remain focused on their work.
She is preparing to star in the musical Kiss from the Spider Woman and will produce a Netflix series based on Emily Henry’s novel Happy place.
Affleck just finished shooting The accountant 2 and is now gearing up to film the crime thriller TEAR with friend Matt Damon.
