‘Batman’ Fan Matthew Perry Named Assistant ‘Albert’

It’s unclear what the mysterious nickname was referring to, but one source claims his “Mattman” posts had something to do with a TV series idea he had in the works.

The insider told People Perry had “fun” and was “incredibly happy” after signing up to act in a new drama film, Unworthy.

However, Perry’s ex, Kayti Edwardsclaimed weeks after his death that the actor only referred to himself by the nickname when he was high.

She claims this in an interview with British sun: “The Mattman thing wasn’t something he did when he was sober. Mattman came out when he wasn’t sober, and he felt a little bit invincible.”

“I was around when he got high, even though I didn’t get high with him, and when I said maybe he should cool it down a little with the drugs, he said, ‘No, I’m Mattman.'”
