The Bachelorette Recap: Jenn Tells Devin ‘I Love You, You Crazy Idiot’
Jen Tran is one step closer to finding her ‘savage love’ after dropping the L-word to her last two men – Devin Strader And Marcus Schoberg.
Tuesday August 27 The Bachelorette: Men tell everything special started with Devin knocking on Jenn’s hotel room door and telling her what no one ever wants to hear: “I’m here to talk.”
“I’m a little unsure where your head is at right now,” Devin admitted. “And I should have told you this overnight.”
Devin went on to put his heart on the line, saying he felt like “the safe option” for Jenn. “I feel like I’m wanted here, but I don’t feel like I’m needed here. And that scares me,” he said.

Despite his hesitations, Devin assured Jenn that he had no doubts about his lack of love for her; he’s just nervous about getting down on one knee if she hasn’t said “I love you” back.
“The proposals are coming next week and I still don’t know where you’re going,” he said. “That scares the hell out of me.”
Jenn paused for a moment to gather her thoughts. “I’m not as good with my words as you are,” she said, before apologizing for not “reassuring” him about their connection.
“I don’t know how to have a healthy relationship,” Jenn said through tears. “I may not know how to be the way you want me to be and I want to do that for you. And I want to feel like I’m doing that the way you do it for me every week.

Jenn grabbed Devin’s face in her hands and dropped the three words he came to her room to hear. “Devin, I really love you, you stupid idiot,” she said as they hugged. ‘I love you, I really do. And sometimes I don’t know how to be as great as you.
With his fears aside, Devin gushed to the camera that he feels “closer than ever” to Jenn. “I feel stronger than ever before,” he said.
Before he could leave the hotel room, the pair exchanged a few more words – and L-bombs. “I love you,” she said. “I love you too,” he replied, before she added, “I love you more.”
Now that Jenn said she loves both Devin and Marcus, it’s clear Jonathon Johnson is her number 3, but the trio is still eligible for the rose ceremony. After giving her first rose to Devin, Jenn presented the remaining rose to Marcus.
For his part, Jonathon was shocked by her decision to let him pack. “I guess you were perfect for me and I wasn’t perfect for you,” he said. “And that is a very difficult pill for me to swallow.”
