Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra could become the lightest luxury phone
The latest rumors suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also be the lightest luxury smartphone compared to recent generations and rivals.
According to Neowin, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be lighter than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which weighs 221 grams. That’s quite a weight loss for Samsung’s luxury phone, considering this year’s model, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, weighs 232 grams.
It is also not yet certain that the upcoming luxury model in the Galaxy S25 series will be called Ultra, as there are rumors that Samsung is planning a name change for the Galaxy S25 phones.
According to Neowin, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also be Samsung’s thinnest Ultra model in a while.
The thickness of the phone is said to be 8.4mm, slightly less than the 8.6mm of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. If true, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be Samsung’s thinnest Ultra model since the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, launched in 2020.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also reported to have corners that are just as rounded as the Galaxy Note 7.
