OnePlus 13 tipped to have a huge battery

9to5Google reports that OnePlus’ upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, will have a pretty hefty battery. According to the information, the battery will be no less than 6000 mAh, making it 600 mAh more than its predecessor, the OnePlus 12.

Since the OnePlus 13 is also rumored to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, it’s unclear how much battery life the larger battery will impact. It’s possible that the newer components will eat up the extra battery capacity quickly, but we’d like to find out.

To put it in context, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra both have a 5000 mAh battery and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 5060 mAh battery

The OnePlus 13 is also rumored to have the same charging specs as the OnePlus 12, 100W fast charging via USB-C and 50W wireless charging.
