Fatman Scoop receives CPR after collapsing on stage, according to eyewitnesses

7:45 PM PT — Hamden Mayor Lauren Garrett said that via social media Isaac Vrijmanaka Fatman Scoopwas transported to hospital by ambulance. “Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.”

Scary scene at the Fatman Scoop concert… after he fainted on stage and was given CPR… and TMZ has it all on video.

The legendary hip-hop hype man was performing at Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut, on Friday when he appeared to have a medical emergency.

People who were there say Fatman Scoop collapsed and fainted… as people rushed to administer CPR. Authorities tell us they were dispatched for a medical emergency at 8:33 p.m.

The video shows medical personnel performing chest compressions on someone behind the DJ booth. People in the crowd say it’s Fatman Scoop.

The music suddenly stops and a hush falls over the crowd… and you hear mumbling about Fatman Scoop getting CPR.

The person who shot this video says he saw Fatman Scoop fall… and he was eventually taken away on a stretcher.

It’s unclear what might have caused this whole thing… but hopefully Fatman pulls through.

Fatman Scoop has collaborated with a lot of big names in hip-hop over the years… Mrs. Elliott, Mary Carey And Jermaine Dupri …just to name a few.
