A disaster for Trump, as Nikki Haley gets more than 20% of the GOP primary votes in Indiana

Trump once again vastly underperformed compared to a candidate who dropped out months ago. This time, Nikki Haley received more than 20% of the vote in deep-red Indiana.

Now that more than 90% of the votes have been counted, Trump leads Haley from 78.2% to 21.8%. Nikki Haley received more than 20% of the vote against Donald Trump after dropping out of the Republican primary and not spending a single second in the state.

Indiana is one of the most Republican-friendly states in the country. There is no way that under normal circumstances a candidate like Haley, who dropped out of the race after Trump clinched the nomination, would get even close to 20% of the vote.

There is a segment of the Republican Party that is sending out the message again and again during these primaries that they do not want Donald Trump to be their party’s nominee.

The polls show that the hush-money lawsuit and all its legal troubles aren’t hurting Trump and Republicans, but the primary results tell a different story.

Something is hurting Trump and turning nearly a quarter of his party against him.

There are warning signs flashing all over the Trump campaign that aren’t there for the Democrats and Joe Biden.

Very simply put, if Trump loses 20% of Republicans to Biden or Kennedy in November, he will lose the 2024 presidential election.
