A look at the five people arrested in the ketamine death of Matthew Perry

Five people have been arrested in connection with the actor Matthew Perry‘s death.

RadarOnline.com can reveal this among the suspects Hollywood drug gang The players included doctors Salvador Plascencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, as well as Perry’s former live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine, killing the actor.

The individuals were taken into custody on suspicion that they were part of a ‘broad underground criminal network’ responsible for the murder drugs found in Perry’s system at the time of his death.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the sitcom star discovers that it is not responding in his hot tub at his Los Angeles home in October 2023. An autopsy report listed the acute effects of ketamine as the cause of death.

Apart from Plascencia, Chavez and Iwamasa claimed drug dealers Eric Flemming, 54, and Jasveen Sangha, 41 – who is also known as the ‘ketamine queen’ – were also arrested.

Prosecutors accused the group of exploiting the actor’s known addiction problems — and claimed the two doctors even labeled him an “idiot” in text messages.

Iwamasa has reportedly admitted to giving Perry the fatal dose of ketamine – and claimed Plascencia taught him how to administer the drug.

Prosecutors alleged that the fatal dose came from the “ketamine queen’s” distribution of the drug on October 4, just weeks before Perry’s death.

Photos from Sangha’s home, according to prosecutors, capture a vast “drug empire,” including thousands of pills and powders.

A law enforcement raid on Sangha’s home on March 20, which resulted in the discovery of incriminating evidence linking her to Perry’s death, including disturbing text messages about the sale of “double-strength” ketamine.

DEA agent Tyler Abrego filed an affidavit about the raid at the Los Angeles federal courthouse.

Abrego wrote: “During the search, law enforcement seized significant quantities of illegal drugs, including approximately 1,978 grams of orange pills that tested positive for methamphetamine, 79 bottles of a clear liquid that tested positive for ketamine, and several other suspected narcotics. ”

The affidavit stated that homicide detectives from the US Postal Service, DEA and LAPD had previously labeled Sangha as a “high volume drug dealer.” It also contained photos of a handgun and narcotics found in the home.

Sangha’s cell phone, that was it seized by the policeincluding text messages of “conversations regarding the sale of pressed methamphetamine pills and ketamine.”

In one message, the “ketamine queen” requested a payment of $958.51 to her PayPal account, adding, “I think you’ll like these, but remember they have double the power.”

Prosecutor Martin Etrada alleged that Perry’s ketamine use began with obtaining the drug through doctors before seeking out street dealers. Court records further showed that the doctors made thousands by providing Perry with the controlled substance.

In one case, Plascencia and Chavez schemed to charge the actor $2,000 for a bottle that cost $12. The doctors allegedly worked with Sangha from September to October 2023 to obtain twenty vials of ketamine for Perry “in exchange for $55,000.”

Authorities alleged that Plascencia once texted Chavez: “I wonder how much this idiot will pay.”
