An Amazon worker tried to shoot his co-worker in Ohio this week… but somehow he missed at close range – which all culminated in tragedy when he was shot by police.
Police identified Ali Hamsa Yusuf – a 22-year-old Amazon security guard who brought a gun to work – as the man who tried to shoot his supervisor… which was captured on surveillance footage.
Watch the video… Yusuf takes out the gun and tries to fire it right behind his boss, but the gun jams. He inspects it, fixes the problem and fires again successfully.
But somehow Ali misses his target, who jumps to the ground before running away. This seems to scare Ali and he runs in the opposite direction before leaving the store.

Police shared the harrowing bodycam footage of the aftermath… which becomes clearer after police stopped Ali’s car as he fled. Yusuf jumps out and fires several shots at a police car, which police say hit an officer in his bulletproof vest.
Officers shot and killed Yusuf who tried to get away. The officer who was shot was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. He is now home and resting.
Police say they do not yet know why Yusuf tried to shoot his supervisor.
