Another female celebrity who may be connected to Matthew Perry’s drug death investigation

As this outlet reported, the Friends actor was tragically discovered in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner discovered “high levels of ketamine” in his body.

While Perry was reportedly undergoing ketamine infusion therapy — an experimental treatment used to treat depression and anxiety — his last treatment occurred more than a week before his death, which would not explain the levels of ketamine in his blood when he became unconscious found.

The actor had discussed his ketamine use in his memoir, Friends, lovers and the big terrible thingwhich was published less than a year before his devastating death.

“It is used for two reasons: to relieve pain and to help with depression,” Perry wrote. “If it had my name all over it,” he added, “they might as well have called it ‘Matty’.”
