Ariana Madix breaks silence on Tom Sandoval's lawsuit

Ariana Madix finally speaks out about her ex Tom Sandovala lawsuit against her.

We weekly broke the news in july that sandoval, 41, had filed suit against madix, claiming the Love Island USA large number of access to explicit videos from Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss on his cell phone without his “authorization or consent.” Sandoval dropped the lawsuit two days later and fired his attorney. Matt Geragosclaiming he had no intention of suing Madix, 39.

Appears on Watch what happens live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, August 13, Madix was asked by the host Andy Cohen whether she believes Sandoval’s version of events. Madix initially shrugged.

Cohen pressed further: “What was your reaction when you saw that? You must have been quite furious.”

“It was a very bad day,” Madix responded diplomatically, but made no further comment.

In a lawsuit obtained by Us on July 16, Sandoval claimed that Madix “gained access” to his phone and reviewed videos of Leviss on March 1, 2023. Sandoval’s filing further alleged that Madix “made copies” of a video and distributed them to “Leviss and third parties” without his consent.

Sandoval filed the lawsuit in response to Leviss’ own lawsuit against him, and Madix filed suit in February. Leviss accused the exes of revenge porn, wiretapping, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Madix’s lawyer, Jordan Susmanresponded to Sandoval’s lawsuit in a statement Ussaying, “It is disgusting that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Madix. From engaging in an illicit affair that destroyed her home and stability, to months of emotional warfare and now this attempt to further avoid personal responsibility for the effects his actions have had on her and her emotional well-being.

The statement continued: “Tom Sandoval knows full well the privileges he and Ms. Madix shared regarding their personal communications devices. If he or his mistress had their way, it would be illegal for anyone to discover their spouse or partner was having an affair.”

After news of the lawsuit broke, Sandoval said in a statement via Instagram on July 18 that he did not fully understand the implications of the lawsuit.

“Late Tuesday afternoon, my attorney, Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me about the cross-complaint in the lawsuit against myself and Ariana,” he wrote. “He assured me that the action in these types of lawsuits was customary and strictly preventive and urged me to agree.”

Sandoval continued, “The words ‘New Trial’ or ‘Indictment’ were not articulated to me. I should have done more research on this matter.”

The Vanderpump Rules star said that after realizing what “this action actually means, I have removed Matt Geragos from my legal team.”

Sandoval wrote, “I am in no way suing Ariana. The action against Ariana filed on my behalf is withdrawn. I had no ill will or desire for revenge towards Ariana.

“By removing both the cross-complaint and the attorney who recommended it, I hope to bring this matter to a swift conclusion so that Ariana and I can finally move on with our lives,” he concluded.
