The Champions League is back! After a short break, the quarter-finals are scheduled for Tuesday. After advancing past the Round of 16, Arsenal will now take on Bayern Munich at Emirates Stadium on April 9 at 3:00 PM ET. Arsenal’s last three Champions League matches have been decided by just one goal, so don’t be surprised if it’s close.

It may have taken extra minutes to get the job done, but Arsenal finally got the result they were hoping for in March. They never let Porto get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The match got a little rough at times as the referees handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over, with Arsenal’s William Saliba and Kai Havertz and Porto’s Kepler Pepe all carded.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Lazio in March. It was an even better day for Harry Kane as he scored two goals for his team.

Arsenal’s win was their fourth home game in a row, increasing their record to 5-1-2. Those wins were in large part due to their attacking performances over that stretch, as they scored thirteen goals in those four games. As for Bayern Munich, their win increased their record to 6-1-1.
