“We will announce new steps to unlock the value of immobilized Russian state assets for the benefit of Ukraine,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters.
G7 leaders hope to reach an agreement on using interest profits on 300 billion euros in frozen assets from the Russian central bank to help Kiev.
