A 19-year-old Aurora man was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the April shooting of an 18-year-old man near Cherry Creek High School.

Police found Hernandez dead from multiple gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of the SUV.

Investigators determined that Hernandez, Trujillo and two others met on the night of April 26 and went to sell drugs at a club in Denver. After the group left the club and tried to find a strip club, Hernandez and Trujillo began arguing about Trujillo not returning the bag of drugs he was supposed to sell, the affidavit said.

They stopped when the argument heated up and two other people in the car tried to calm Hernandez and Trujillo, as they all got out of the vehicle except Hernandez, a witness told police.
