Axl Rose Slams Ex-Penthouse Pet of the Year, Indicted for Alleged Sexual Abuse in 1989, Accuses Her of Rewriting History

However, at the party, Kennedy claimed to have witnessed Rose getting into an argument with another model. She said he then found her and dragged her to the bedroom, the suit alleged.

She alleged that Rose sexually assaulted her. ‘Rose made no attempt to ask or check whether Kennedy gave permission. He treated her as a possession to be used solely for his sexual pleasure. He did not use a condom,” her suit said. “Kennedy did not agree and felt overwhelmed. She felt like there was no escape or exit and was forced to agree. She believed [Axl] would physically attack her, or worse, if she said no or tried to push him away. She understood that the safest thing to do was to lie in bed and wait until Rose finished attacking her.”

He said Kennedy had “admitted repeatedly” that he had never assaulted her.

Rose said Kennedy spoke about their meeting in her 2016 memoir and in a 2021 documentary. He said in the book that she said she “wanted to be with him from the moment I first saw him.”

During her interview, he quoted her saying that Rose had acted “gently” and that the sex had been “consensual.”

Rose accused Kennedy of “rewriting history” with her lawsuit.

His lawyer wrote: ‘Despite making clear and definitive statements, both before and after the height of the ‘Me Too’ movement, that her alleged sexual encounter with Rose was consensual, her position has now changed. The belief that the statute of limitations had been reopened and that she could benefit from claiming:for the first time, almost 35 years later– that the incident was in fact not consensual was apparently too great an opportunity to pass up, and so she filed this false complaint just two days before its expiration.

Rose asked whether Kennedy would be sanctioned for filing the lawsuit.

Now Rose again argued for dismissal in his newly filed motion. His lawyer said: “in the heart of [Kennedy’s] The complaint is her lascivious, inflammatory and false allegation that defendant forcibly raped her in 1989. This allegation is directly and repeatedly contradicted by Plaintiff’s prior statements – in print and on Video Z – that the incident alleged in the complaint was entirely consensual.”

Furthermore, Rose argued that Kennedy’s several attempts to serve him were unsuccessful, despite her process server’s claims.
