Bluey fans can rejoice as an episode of the hit children’s show, which has been banned on Disney+, is now available to stream for free.
The episode in question is called ‘Dad Baby’ and is now available to watch on the official Bluey channel on YouTube, meaning you can finally watch the full episode.
Find out what we know so far about Blue Season 4.
Why was the episode banned?
While Disney+ has done a great job bringing Bluey to viewers around the world, it’s no secret that the streaming service has been cautious with its content.
It is a children’s show after all, but Disney may have gone overboard on this front.
‘Dad Baby’ wasn’t part of the UK and US rollout and still can’t be found on the platform even if you’re aware of its existence.
It appears that Disney considers the content of the episode unsuitable for young viewers, as the storyline revolves around Bandit pretending to be pregnant with Bingo (she is strapped to her father in a baby carrier) and a water birth in the paddling pool in the garden of Heeler.
This may be Bluey’s only completely banned episode on Disney+ in the West, but the streaming service has also edited in jokes that it’s not happy with either, including turning “unicorn poop” into a “snail” in the Trains episode.
In it, Bluey asks Bandit to lick her imaginary train ticket, which she reveals is poop in the original version, and rub it on his face.
Where can I stream Dad Baby?
While that and other politically correct style corrections remain on Disney+, you can now watch “Dad Baby” in all its glory on YouTube. To enjoy.
