Brutal surveillance video shows Diddy attacking Cassie Ventura

Hotel surveillance video obtained by CNN Friday shows how Sean “Diddy” Combs violently assaulted his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016, confirming details of a now-settled lawsuit she filed against the rapper late last year.

The footage shows the singer-songwriter walking quickly through the hallway of the now-closed InterContinental Hotel Century City in Los Angeles, carrying a purse and a small duffel bag. Combs is then seen running down the hallway behind her, wearing only socks and a towel around his waist.

The rapper – who is now facing allegations of sexual abuse from numerous women – finds Ventura in the elevator lobby on the floor, grabs her by the neck and throws her to the ground. He kicks her, grabs her bags and kicks her again before grabbing her by the sweatshirt and dragging her back to the hallway.

Combs walks back to the hotel room with Ventura’s bags while she retrieves a hotel phone from the elevators. He then returns to Ventura and appears to push her into a corner, before throwing an object at her off-camera.

Ventura’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, told CNN: “Heartbreaking video has only further cemented Mr. Combs’ disturbing and predatory behavior. Words cannot express the courage and determination Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to expose this.”

Ventura, whose relationship with Combs began in the early 2000s when she was 19 and he was 37, settled her lawsuit against him a day after filing it last November. In the lawsuit, she accused him of repeated physical and sexual abuse over more than a decade.

Combs “vehemently denied” the allegations, his attorney, Ben Brafman, said at the time. In the settlement, Brafman said the secret agreement was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing” on Combs’ part.

Brafman did not immediately respond to JS’s request for comment on the footage published by CNN.

Since Ventura went public with her allegations, numerous other women have made similar accusations against Combs, all of which she has denied.

Homeland Security agents raided multiple properties linked to the rapper in March. While it is unclear what exactly the raids were related to, the team that raided the properties is engaged in human trafficking crimes, a senior federal law enforcement official told CNN.
