Camila Morrone Joins Tom Hiddleston in 'The Night Manager' Season 2

“Daisy Jones & the Six” star Camila Morrone will join Tom Hiddleston in a new season of “The Night Manager.”

The hit show, based on John le Carré’s bestselling novel of the same name, returns for two new seasons from BBC and Prime Video, with Hiddleston reprising his role as Jonathan Pine, who works in a hotel after leaving the army.

The new season, which debuts later this year, picks up eight years after season 1. “The Crown” star Elizabeth Debicki played Pine’s secret lover Jed Marshall in the first season. She is not expected to return.

Morrone’s character in the new season has not been revealed. Morrone previously played Camila Dunne in “Daisy Jones and the Six” alongside Riley Keough and Sam Claflin. She also appeared in the feature films ‘Marmalade’ and ‘Gonzo Girl’, opposite Willem Dafoe and Patricia Arquette.

The new seasons of “The Night Manager” are written by series creator David Farr, while “I Hate Suzie” director Georgi Banks-Davies will direct all of Season 2. Stephen Garrett directs production, while Hugh Laurie directs production.

Representatives for Morrone, the BBC and Prime Video declined to comment.

“The Night Manager” first premiered in 2016 and won a slew of awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Actor for Hiddleston. The show was one of the most popular dramas in Britain at the time. Season 2 will be released on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK, while Prime Video has acquired the international rights.
