Canned jalapenos recalled over glass in product

MC McLane International of Houston, Texas is recalling canned jalapenos due to glass contamination.

According to the details posted online by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), the recall was initiated on February 10, 2024 and is still ongoing.

The recalled products were distributed in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania , South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Recalled product:

Jalapenos packaged in 6 pound and 10 oz cans. 6 cans per box

Consumers should not use this product. Recalled products should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
