Ten years after his death, radio legend Casey Kasem’s daughter Kerri fights a desperate battle to bring his remains home.

Radio legend Casey Kasem‘s determined daughter Kerri visited her father’s unmarked grave in Norway for the first time – ten years after his death – as she wages a desperate battle to bring his remains home, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Kerri Kasem’s journey to the grave comes just days after the tenth anniversary of the tragic American Top 40 host’s death on June 15, 2014 at the age of 82.

Kerri Kasem’s journey to the grave comes just days after the tenth anniversary of the tragic American Top 40 host’s death on June 15, 2014 at the age of 82.

It also marks the beginning of a renewed effort to snatch her father’s remains from his widow’s controlling clutches. Jean Kasemwho, despite their vehement objections, had led his body away from his grieving children.

“We would like to take my father’s body home,” Kerri said RadarOnline.com. ‘This is his house. This is where he belongs.”

It also marks the beginning of a renewed drive to snatch her father’s remains from the controlling clutches of his widow, Jean Kasem, who had spirited his body away from his grieving children despite their vehement objections.

Kerri, 51, says she has hired a lawyer to investigate Norway’s excavation laws — the country previously denied the children’s 2014 request to exhume Kasem — and to challenge U.S. laws that ban former cheers star Jean, 70, full control of the remains.

Casey – who famously voiced goofball Shaggy Rogers in the ’70s cartoon series Scooby-Doo, where are you? – was suffering from dementia when Jean was accused of virtually kidnapping him from his nursing home bed in Santa Monica, California, in May 2014.

He eventually died in a hospital in Tacoma, Washington, from a staph infection related to a gruesome bedsore on his back. For months, Casey’s body lay rotting in a funeral home in Montreal, Canada.

Jean, who had a daughter Freedom with Casey, she eventually brought her husband’s body to faraway Oslo, where he was buried in the Vestre Gravlund cemetery after the sitcom alum told authorities she was part Norwegian and planned to move there.

Jean, who had daughter Liberty with Casey, eventually brought her husband’s body to faraway Oslo, where he was buried in the Vestre Gravlund cemetery after the sitcom alum told authorities she was part Norwegian and was planning to go there to move.

But Jean — who denies Kerri’s claims — still lives in an $11 million mansion in Beverly Hills! Kerri said RadarOnline.com she plans to expose Jean’s negligence in Norway and help convince the government to release the remains to her and her siblings Mike and Julie.

“By law, the remains go to Jean,” Kerri admitted. “But this makes no sense. She moved my father under false pretenses. Under lies. We gave Norway everything it needs to know that this was a complete fabrication of the truth. She’s not even Norwegian!’
