Parts of the east garage at Denver International Airport will be closed at various times from August 12 through September 15 as workers wash down and re-clad the building.
The work, which will be carried out in phases, will affect specific parts for approximately one week. Similar work that prompted a partial closure of the west garage is expected to end on August 11.
During the work, certain parts of the east garage will be closed to parking, but other parts will remain open. The closure schedule for the eastern garage is:
Phase 1: August 12-18, rows NR, all levels
Phase 2: August 19-25, Rijen JM, all levels
Phase 3: August 26-30, Rows EH, all levels (levels 5-3 are open from August 29. Only level 1 remains closed through August 31).
Break for Labor Day holiday: August 31 – September 8
Phase 4: September 9-15, rows AD, all levels.
All vehicles must be removed from the area to be cleaned. Signs are placed three weeks in advance to warn people. All vehicles parked in the area will be moved to the lot adjacent to the southwest corner of the east garage.
