Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are still together despite mixed rumors
Dakota Johnson And Chris Martin are still very much together, despite reports that they have called it quits.
“The reports are not true,” a representative for Johnson, 34, said We weekly in a statement on Friday, August 16. “They are happy together.”
The update came after the Daily mail reported that Johnson and Martin, 47, ended their engagement. The outlet specifically referenced Johnson’s recent appearance in Los Angeles, where she was seen without an engagement ring. Martin has now been abroad with his band Coldplay for their current tour.
Earlier this summer, Johnson was spotted supporting her fiancé as he performed at the Glastonbury Festival. Johnson watched the show with Martin’s children – Apple, 20, and Moses, 18 – whom he shares with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. During the June performance, Johnson was spotted cheering on set from a balcony.
Johnson has happily shown her support for Martin since they started dating in 2017. She recently felt proud that she had the opportunity to see Martin take the stage.
“I love watching him. I could watch it every day. I don’t know how to explain it,” she muttered Rush in an interview in March. “I feel like, I don’t know… I’m watching my most favorite creature do his most favorite thing. If people are really good at something, then so be it [sexy.]”
The couple, who have largely kept their romance out of the public eye, made headlines in March when news broke of their engagement.

Johnson has even developed a close bond with Martin’s ex-wife. Paltrow, 51, who is married to Brad Falchukhas previously offered a glimpse into her unexpected friendship with Johnson via social media.
“It took a while, but eventually Gwyneth saw how great Dakota treated her kids,” a second source told Us in April. “Seeing that she loved them with all her heart really changed the way Gwyneth felt.”
