Diddy was criticized by dozens of ex-employees and colleagues in a bombastic report, but he still has at least one person in his camp… one of the singers from his old musical trio.
“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” alum and Diddy-Dirty Money member Kalenna Harper was interviewed before Rolling stone during their six month investigation…and she was one of the few who defended him, while also mocking all the Bad Boy artists that piled up.
Not only did Kalenna praise her time with Diddy, but she also mocked the Bad Boy alumni who blamed him for crippling their careers… which was a recurring theme in the RS piece.
Kalenna said there was an air of “disgruntled employee syndrome” to the screenplay… pretty bold words, considering the laundry list of ex-Bad Boy artists who made it onto the record.

Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day recently told TMZ that her time on Bad Boy resulted in abuse and that Diddy dangled her publishing rights in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement that prevented her from ever destroying his name again.
Ex-Bad Boy artists The LOX and Yung Joc almost avoided violent attacks publicly dealing with Diddy and Mark Kerry molded his entire 2009 memoir “Dancing with the Devil: How Puff Burned the Bad Boys of Hip-Hop” around his alleged nightmare with the label.
Even late, according to RS Notoriously BIG — whose two-album series is steeped in Bad Boy’s lineage — was apparently planning his exit from Diddy’s company.
Of course that’s true Cassiewho released only one album of her ten-album deal and filed a lawsuit portraying Diddy as her tormentor disguised as her lover.
Kalenna, along with former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard, formed Diddy-Dirty Money in 2009 and released their album “Last Train to Paris” a year later. The band then performed together for about a year, but broke up in early 2010.
