Ex-‘Southern Charm’ star Kathryn Dennis’ dramatic arrest explained

Dennis found the arrest unfair when the officer ordered the reality star to put her hands behind her back. “Wait why? Am I in trouble?” she asked.

‘You are ruining my life – and that of my children’ [lives]’ she stated after being arrested.

An officer noted in the report that he walked to her car after arriving at the scene of the accident in South Carolina around 9 p.m.

“I went to the vehicle and observed an unopened mini bottle of Fireball on the driver’s side floorboard,” the officer stated. “I located Ms. Dennis holding a dog and being checked by EMS. While standing next to Ms. Dennis, I could smell an odor consistent with the odor of alcoholic beverages coming from her.”
