Several in the past few weeks Google Chrome users have reported getting blank web pages when you return to an open tab. Apparently a bug caused this problem in the Chrome browser on desktop and Android devices. Fortunately, Google has already addressed and resolved this bug, according to the Support Manager of the Chrome Help Community.

Google has fixed the bug in Chrome that prevented content from being displayed on web pages

According to the post on the Chrome Help Community forums, the Chrome issue that caused blank web pages to display has been resolved. According to reports, some users were presented with a blank screen when switching between open tabs. Fortunately, the content reappeared for some users a few moments later. However, the other users had to restart the web page to see the information on it.

Google has has released a server-side update for Chrome on Windows and Android devices to resolve this issue. Since it is a server-side update, users do not need to do anything. It will be applied automatically in the background once they close and restart Chrome on their devices. The company released the fix for this bug earlier this week, on May 21. It may take some time to reach all Chrome users on Android and Windows devices.

Google Chrome gets the Circle to Search feature on desktop and iOS

Google continues to improve the user experience for Chrome users across platforms by introducing new features from time to time. Soon, the brand will release Android’s Circle to Search functionality to more platforms, including desktop and iOS. This feature allows you to draw a circle around an image or type in what you want to search for more information without switching tabs or apps.

Google is already testing Android’s Circle to Search functionality on iOS and desktop devices. Once testing is complete, we can expect the feature to be more widely available to the public in the coming weeks. Notably, Google is also working on improving the browser’s AI capabilities by implementing Gemini Nano in Chrome.
