How to rotate the screen on Android

Open Notification Center

Unlock your Android device and go to the home screen. Then swipe down from the top of the screen to open Notification Center.

Swipe down again to expand the Quick Settings menu. There, look for the ‘Auto-rotate’ icon. It usually looks like a phone rectangle surrounded by arrows that make a 90° bend.
Enable or disable auto-rotate

If it is highlighted (colored), auto-rotate is already enabled. If the icon is gray, tap it to enable auto-rotate.
You can also open the Settings app and navigate to Appearance. Then find and tap “Auto-rotate screen” to turn it on or off.
