Interstate 25 north of Fort Collins closed due to ‘major crash’
Interstate 25 is closed in both directions north of Fort Collins due to a ‘major crash’ according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The highway closed between Colorado 1 and Exit 293 to Carr at 2:19 p.m. the agency posted on X.
Drivers should exit northbound I-25 at exit 278 for Wellington and exit southbound I-25 at exit 287 for Buckeye Road.
Alternative routes are strongly recommended, State officials said in a travel warning.
