King Charles III seems to be turning to TikTok to stay on top of the hottest new wellness trends.
When the monarch, 75, posed for a photo with the finance minister Jeremy Hunt in March, eagle-eyed royal fans noticed a Dyson Purifier visible in the background of the room.
Dyson’s product and Air wrap hair tool previously went viral on the social media app. The Dyson Purifier – which automatically detects, traps and traps pollutants and formaldehyde for cleaner air – costs more than $1,000, according to Dyson. website.
Luckily for Charles, who is known to enjoy “teeth-chattering cold conditions,” per The timesthe Dyson Purifier has both a warm and cold air setting.
Charles’ meeting with Hunt, 57, last month marked one of his first returns to royal duties after Buckingham Palace announced the king had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer” following a procedure for his enlarged prostate.
“His Majesty today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public duties,” the statement said in February. “During this period, His Majesty will continue to conduct state affairs and official paperwork as usual.”
The palace has not yet released any further details about the type or stage of Charles’ diagnosis. However, royal reporter Omid Scobie said that Charles is not fighting prostate cancer.
After Charles’ diagnosis was announced, the monarch released a statement expressing “sincere thanks” to his supporters.
“As anyone affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement,” Charles wrote in a separate statement released by the palace in February. “It is equally encouraging to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped to promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organizations supporting cancer patients and their families in the UK and the support the rest of the world.”
Since news broke of Charles’ health problems, Princess Kate Middleton also revealed her own cancer diagnosis. In a video shared worldwide, Kate, 42, said she had undergone preventative chemotherapy.
“I am doing well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal in my mind, body and spirit,” she added. “To have [Prince] William by my side is also a great source of comfort and reassurance, as is the love, support and kindness shown by so many of you. It means so much to both of us.
In the wake of both Charles and Kate’s health issues, a source exclusively shared in the latest issue of We weekly that “it was stressful” for William, 41.
“William feels a deep sense of duty to uphold the stability of the monarchy and instill confidence in the public that everything will turn out well,” the insider said. “It’s a huge responsibility.”
