Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright ‘working towards a solution’

Hours after accusing his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwrightof sleeping with someone else, Jax Taylor says the couple is “working things out.”

“We’re working things out… what you saw was filmed months ago…,” he responded to a viewer of the Bravo reality show, The valleyvia X on Wednesday 5 June.

Just hours earlier, Jax, 44, posted a claim via X that Brittany, 35, had been seeing someone else since announcing their divorce in February.

“You might want to ask Brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past four months…” the reality star wrote per Page sixwhich caused a flurry of comments online.

Jax and brittany, who share son cruz, 3, talked about their divorce during the season 1 finale of The valley on Tuesday, June 4, in scenes filmed after they revealed the news in February.

“A lot happened with me and Jax,” Brittany said in a confessional. ‘We had been having problems all summer, but once the cameras started rolling, things just got worse and worse. So about six weeks ago I divorced Jax. I moved into an Airbnb with Cruz because Jax didn’t want to leave. I think this shows how selfish Jax is.

In another scene, Jax recalled being “in tears” after Brittany told him she wanted to break up. “Brittany and I are on a break. … It doesn’t look good,” he said.

“There are no affairs, no cheating or abuse. None of that. I’m so triggered,” Jax added.

Jax recently addressed the status of his marriage to Brittany after photos of him with a model surfaced Paige Wollen end of May.

“I am not – I repeat not – dating anyone. I was seen with someone and it was strictly lunch,” Jax said on the Friday, May 31, episode of his and Brittany’s “When reality hits” podcast. “Obviously Brittany and I have been separated for a long time. What we are going through now is tough. Marriage is not easy.”

“We’re trying to figure out a lot of different things: therapy, divorce and maybe, possibly, dating other people,” he continued. “We are trying to exhaust everything before we have to go down the road of divorce – if that is the case.”

Jax further elaborated on the pair potentially dating other people, saying he and Brittany are “on the same page.”

“We both agree that this is okay. However, the most important thing is our son,” he said.

Jax added, “Part of taking some time out means discovering other people. All marriages are different, but this is what is right for our marriage. This is something we’ve talked about and we’re on the same page. We have a few more rules, but we are investigating this.”
