An insider confirmed that the singer was arrested shortly after dining with friends at the historic American Hotel in Sag Harbor, where “police were stationed outside.”
“[The arresting officer] was so young he didn’t even know who the pop star was,” the source said. “He didn’t recognize him or his name.”
“He was a gentleman,” another source said of Timberlake’s arrest this week. “He showed no right at all. He refused the tests, but that is his right.”
