Kamala Harris' running mate Tim Walz is raising safety concerns

The StarTribune reported that Walz’s stomach turned when he sat in the backseat while state troopers were driving.

Walz’s passenger princess preferences could pose a security concern as 60-year-old Governor Harris looks set to back her fight against Donald Trump And Senator J.D. Vance this election year.

With tensions high ahead of the November elections – including the assassination attempt on Trump – the safety of the presidential candidates is a concern.

Historically, the president is instructed to sit in the right rear seat so that the driver can see them at all times. It is unclear whether the same rules apply to the vice president.

However, after the 1963 car assassination of JFK – in which the late president sat in the backseat of a convertible – security measures were tightened.
