Kanye West’s battery investigation into alleged punching incident on ice

Kanye West may ultimately avoid legal trouble for allegedly punching a man at a famous hotel last month… because police say everyone involved has gone radio silent.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the rapper and twin brothers Marking And Jonnie Houston have clung on over claims Ye screwed the wrong twin in the face of Chateau Marmont after he thought one of them had attacked his wife Bianca Censori in April.

Although Kanye’s camp claimed Bianca was attacked … police said they saw no evidence of an assault when they reviewed surveillance footage. The best they could figure was that it was just one of the twins who accidentally bumped into Bianca.

We’re told police needed brothers Mark, Jonnie and/or Kanye to cooperate with the investigation, but all three outright ignored all their chat requests.

We’re told officials believe Ye and the twins have resolved their differences privately… and that’s probably why there have been crickets on both sides. We’re told the police department doesn’t have enough capacity to even send the case to the LA City Attorney’s Office.
