Whether you choose drama or subtlety depends more on personality and occasion. The past week was a mix of both worlds. Even with less high-profile gatherings, fashion somehow found a way to decorate the week with ready-made celebrities doing their thing. Far from being a sartorial problem, stars were meticulous in the details and sizzling in offerings that emphasized their individual tastes. At events like the 32nd annual ESPY Awards, the ensembles were as glamorous as they were put together, showcasing the versatile flexibility of fashion.

One of the unforgettable highlights of the 2024 ESPY Awards was the towering Williams sisters Quinta Brunson on stage, but still of little significance considering all three ladies have a record of business and shattering glass ceilings. The star girls at the ESPY Awards were deeply hydrated and beautifully dressed in figure-hugging pieces that deliberately showed off bright melanin, a hallmark of 2024.
