Miley Cyrus is ‘still pretty mad’ at dad Billy Ray

The father-daughter rift started after the Painfully broken heart singer, 62, divorced Tish, 57, in 2022 after more than 28 years of marriage. Just a month later, he quickly hooked up with singer Firerose, 35.
The May-December couple married in October 2023, but on May 23, Billy Ray filed to annul the marriage. He then requested a temporary restraining order, accusing Firerose of racking up $96,000 in unauthorized credit card charges.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Wrecking ball The 31-year-old singer tried to persuade her father to marry Firerose and refused to attend the wedding in protest.
Now Miley is cocky because she knows she was right all along, our friends told us.
“This is turning out to be just as toxic and messy as Miley predicted, but it’s hard for her to have much sympathy for her dad right now,” the source explains.
“She’s still pretty mad at him for the horrible way he treated Tish, so it won’t be that easy when all is forgiven just because he’s single again.”
“Miley always knew it wouldn’t last long and her dad was taken for a ride, so it really pissed her off that Billy Ray wouldn’t listen to her warnings,” the tipster added. “She doesn’t want her father to get hurt, but she also feels quite smug about being proven right.”
“Miley is glad he came to his senses and dumped Firerose, but it’s going to take a lot more to earn her forgiveness,” the mole noted.
As this outlet reported, Miley did her best to convince her father that marrying Firerose would end in heartbreak.
“It scares Miley to see her dad acting like a lovesick old fool over this girl,” a source previously said. “Rumor has it he doesn’t want a prenuptial agreement, so anything he earns is split 50-50 with her. They also try to get pregnant as quickly as possible.’
“Miley wants to talk to him – preferably some of her siblings – and see if she can perform a miracle or at least convince him to protect himself financially,” the tipster added.
Although Miley was wary of her father’s new relationship, she fully supported mother Tish in moving on from actor Dominic Purcell – and even stood by her side as a bridesmaid at the couple’s wedding in August 2023.
“Miley supports Tish because her mother acts like an adult,” the insider says. “Clearly she feels like Billy Ray doesn’t do that.”
