Nancy Pelosi's daughter is trashing Trump over a joke about the former Speaker of the House of Representatives

Nancy Pelosi‘s daughter shot back Donald Trump this week after the embattled ex-president reportedly joked about sharing a “perfect” romance with the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In an exciting development that would come after Trump visited Capitol Hill on Thursday to meet with Republican lawmakers, the convicted ex-president is said to have made a controversial joke about former House Speaker Pelosi.

According to those in attendance on Thursday, Trump called Christine Pelosi a “crazy” and indicated that she told him that he and Nancy would have been “perfect together” if “things had been different.”

“Nancy Pelosi’s daughter is a lunatic,” the 45th president reportedly said said on Thursday morning. “Her daughter told me that if things were different, Nancy and I would be perfect together, but there is an age difference.”

Pelosi’s daughter rushed to X shortly afterwards to clarify that Trump’s alleged claim was a lie. She also slammed the “unhinged” ex-president and his “crazy obsession” with the former Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“Speaking for all four Pelosi daughters, this is a LIE,” said Christine Pelosi tweeted on Thursday morning.

“His deceptive, twisted obsession with our mother is yet another reason why Donald Trump feels unwell, unhinged, and unable to even step near her,” she continued, “or the White House.”

Meanwhile, a representative of former House Speaker Pelosi also commented on Trump’s bizarre claim about the couple’s “perfect” romance.

“That man has clearly lost his marbles,” Pelosi’s spokesperson responded. “Not that he had many to begin with.”

As RadarOnline.com previously noted, the back-and-forth between Trump and Pelosi’s daughter came after the embattled ex-president returned to Capitol Hill on Thursday to meet with Republican lawmakers ahead of the November general election.

Trump’s visit this week marked the first time he has been back in the building since before the infamous Capitol riots on January 6, 2021, when his supporters tried — and failed — to stop the certification of the 2020 election. Joe Biden.

Former House Speaker Pelosi took aim at Trump shortly before his visit to Capitol Hill on Thursday, calling him the “instigator of an insurrection” who was on a “mission to dismantle our democracy.”

“Today, the instigator of an insurrection returns to the scene of the crime,” Pelosi said. “January 6 was a crime against the Capitol, where Nazi and Confederate flags flew under the dome Lincoln built.”

“It was a crime against the Constitution and its peaceful transfer of power, in a desperate attempt to stay in power,” the former Speaker of the House of Representatives continued. “And it was a crime against members, heroic police officers and staff, that resulted in death, injury and trauma that continues to this day.”
