Nigel Lythgoe denounces the ‘baseless’ and ‘inflammatory’ accusations made by two female participants in his failed ex-reality show All American girlclaiming that there are several reasons why he can poke holes in their accusations, including the heart attack he suffered before the alleged incidents took place.

In legal documents obtained by RadarOnline.comThe embattled television mogul, 74, questioned the pair’s motives behind the lawsuit, claiming the timing of their filing was “strategically planned to unjustifiably attack the character of NL, with careless disregard for the legal authority that holds it made accusations prematurely.”

Lythgoe claimed he was in a health emergency months before the alleged “groping incident.”

As this outlet reported, the women filed a lawsuit against Lythgoe who used the pseudonyms “Jane Doe” in January. They claimed Lythgoe “openly spanked and groped” their asses on the set and dressing rooms of the short-lived 2003 competition show before things allegedly escalated at his home on the way to the series’ wrap party.

The So you think you can dance executive produced the competition reality series, which he said was filmed between January 2003 and approximately May 2003. As Lythgoe noted, “Plaintiffs were contestants on the show, but neither was the winner.”

“A former participant who was present in the locker rooms and in all other group situations involving plaintiffs from January through May 2003 will confirm that NL did not enter the locker rooms and never spanked and/or groped anyone’s buttocks,” he said . , with producers and showrunners from AAG will support that.

Lythgoe claimed there was no afterparty due to the terrible ratings.

Lythgoe insisted the show had “already finished filming” when the women claimed they got into his car for a ride to the after-party and ended up at his house.

“NL was no longer their employer (to the extent he ever was), he was no longer their boss (to the extent he ever was), he was not in any position of power as it pertained to claimants. So it stretches credulity that Plaintiffs, who claim they were groped and beaten by NL during the show, would then choose to get into NL’s car (after a party that never happened) instead of simply getting a ride from any of the other individuals returning to the studio as they claim,” the legal documents say.
