Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley officially approved Donald Trump – after she called him “disgusting” during the primaries, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Despite criticizing the ex-president during his campaign, the former South Carolina governor has done just that supported his campaign before the November elections.

Haley previously called Trump “disgusting” and questioned his mental fitness during the primaries.

Despite her previous recordings on the ex-president, Haley — who previously served as Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations — appeared to put her opinions aside unite her party.

During her speech on Wednesday, May 22, at the Hudson Institute in Washington, Haley announced that she would “vote for Trump” in the upcoming election.

Haley claimed Trump isn’t “perfect” but Biden has been a “catastrophe.”

Haley explained that “as a voter” she prioritized “a president who will have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies accountable.”

Trump’s former UN ambassador also noted that she supported the candidate who would secure the border and “support capitalism and freedom” while reducing the national debt.

Trump has hasn’t been perfect about this policy. I’ve made that clear many times,” Haley said before adding, “But Biden has been a catastrophe.”

Haley then encouraged Trump to gain support from her base — which was largely made up of moderate Republicans — if he wanted a better chance of defeating President Biden in November.

“I will vote for Trump. That said, I stand by what I said in my suspension speech,” Haley continued. “Trump would be smart to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me.”

Haley’s comments Wednesday were a quick change of pace from her statements against Trump during the primaries. Less than three months ago, she warned that Trump was unfit to be president after he attacked her husband, who is currently serving in the military.

“We can’t have someone making fun of the men and women who are trying to protect America,” Haley said. “It’s a pattern of chaos. It’s a pattern of irresponsibility.”

Haley advised Trump to reach out to moderate Republicans ahead of the November election.

It wasn’t the only time Haley didn’t hold back when it came to letting voters know how she felt about the ex-president as she campaigned for the Republican nomination.

After Trump claimed that his criminal charges would win him more support from black Americans, Haley labeled his comments as “awful.”

Haley also claimed that Trump’s “disgusting” comments should be a “major warning sign” against which Republicans would not win. Joe Biden if he is the nominee.

The former governor of South Carolina also openly questioned the issue mental fitness of the ex-president during campaign events. Haley claimed that Trump was “more diminished than he was” during his first term.
