OJ Simpson owed Ron Goldman's family an 8-figure sum at the time of his death

OJ Simpson owed a huge 8 figure sum to the family of Ron Goudman – the man who was murdered with him Nicole Brown Simpson on June 12, 1994 – at the time of his death.

This is evident from court documents obtained by RadarOnline.comIn 2022, Ron’s father Fred asked the court to renew the 1997 judgment the family won in a civil lawsuit against OJ.

OJ was found in the case liable in wrongful death lawsuits brought by the families of Ron and Nicole – after they were acquitted in his criminal trial. He was ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages in the civil case.

Over the years, Fred tried to collect any assets or profits that Simpson earned. After OJ was released from prison for armed robbery, he started selling autographs and merchandise. Fred tried to seize the money in 2018.

Fred failed to get one substantial amount despite his efforts.

In 2021 he has revealed that Simpson only paid off $132,000 of the judgment. At the time, the $33 million had grown to $70 million through interest.

In court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, in 2022, Fred said the judgment had increased to $96 million.

OJ didn’t respond Fred’s files at the court.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, OJ’s family announced on Twitter that the ex-NFL star had passed away.

The family said: “On April 10, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this transition period, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and privacy. grace. The Simpson family.”

OJ was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. As RadarOnline.com first reported, the ex-NFL star had a serious health crisis last year and underwent a procedure to insert a stent during emergency surgery just months before his death.

Caitlyn Jennerwho was once close to OJ, tweeted: “Good Riddance #OJSimpson.”

Tom Langeone of the lead detectives on the murder case, told TMZ, “I have nothing to say, I just don’t care.”
