The coming one Britney Spears biopic gets a chance to be extra authentic… as the new owner of the singer’s childhood home invites Universal Pictures to film on location.
The current homeowner of the Spears family’s old home in Kentwood, Louisiana, tells TMZ … she’s completely open to camera crews entering the property to shoot scenes for the Britney movie.
It sounds like the owner is willing to go to great lengths to make this happen… she tells us she’s fine with the production company removing her furniture and bringing in their own set pieces, which should be done to recreate the 80s and 90 of Britney accurately. childish environment.
Furthermore, the owner tells us that she is willing to leave the house no matter how long it takes to film, but of course she wants financial compensation… which is common in the film business.
TMZ broke the story…Britney’s childhood home went on the market last November for $1.2 million – the owner lives there until it is sold – and it has some, but not all, of the original furnishings.
The original dance studio where starry-eyed little Britney began her journey to superstardom is still there… ditto for some childhood scribbled on a wall, including an apparent dig at Christina Aguileraplus a message in the concrete that says “Love Britney,” and some art that Brit reportedly left behind.
It’s unclear whether Universal plans to film in Kentwood or simply recreate the house on a studio lot… but the offer is there.

Gordon says Kentwood is building a bigger and better Britney Spears museum, with the goal of being ready just in time for the film, which has no release date.
