Patriots owner Robert Kraft will stop funding Columbia’s NYC Campus

Colombian President Minouche Shafik is now facing calls to resign immediately after criticism that she has not done enough to crack down on the protests and ensure students have a safe learning environment.

“In the coming days, a working group of deans, university administrators and faculty members will attempt to resolve this crisis,” she shared in a statement.

“I know there is a lot of discussion about whether or not we should use police on campus, and I am happy to participate in those discussions,” Shafik continued. “I hope everyone can take a deep breath, show compassion and work together to rebuild the ties that bind us together.”
