Prices on Sony’s five-star headphones have dropped during Amazon Prime Day

Tech Advisor doesn’t often give five-star ratings, but Sony headphones and earbuds are some of the few products to receive this distinction.

If you want to get your hands on the best audio products money can buy, now is the time. Several headphones have their lowest prices ever, although the discounts only last until the end of the day and are exclusive to Amazon Prime members.

The biggest discount is on the Sony WH-1000XM4 Over-the-Ear Noise Canceling Headphones, which are over 40% off. The discount is the most impressive in Britain, down from £350 to just £179.99. US readers, meanwhile, can get the headphones for just $198, down from a suggested retail price of $348.

These headphones feature industry-leading noise cancellation, comfortable construction and incredible audio to suit any music genre. They are also available in three colors.

If you want something new, the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones are discounted to just £259.99/$298, which is just over £100/$100 off the standard price. These have improved audio, ANC and call quality – but if you plan to travel, these cans don’t fold like the XM4s.

The best audio product for on the go are of course earbuds, thanks to their pocket-sized size. Fortunately, Sony also pays attention to you in this area. The Sony WF-1000XM5 earphones cost just £189 / $228, when they normally cost £259.99 / $299.99.
